K-League's Representative Striker

Played in Jeju, Jeonbuk, Suwon FC, etc

Busan I'Park, a professional soccer K League 2, announced on the 8th that it has recruited Brazilian striker Ricardo Lopez, who played for K League 1 Jeju United, Jeonbuk Hyundai, and Suwon FC.

Lopez, who is entering his seventh season in the K-League alone when joining Busan, joined Jeju in 2015 and first stepped into the K-League.

Lopez, who had a special debut season with 11 goals and 11 assists in 33 games at the time, moved to Jeonbuk the following year and played an active role with 41 goals and 22 assists in 124 games for four seasons.

After experiencing Chinese, Japanese and Ukrainian leagues, he made a comeback to the K-League after joining Suwon FC in the second half of last year. He showed off his robustness by scoring four goals and two assists in 16 games.

Previously, he played as a wing forward, but since last season, he has played as a central striker, showing his header ability and veteran-like smart attack development, adding various attack options to Busan.

Lopez will join the Thai off-season training immediately after joining Busan to improve his condition.

Following Lopez, Busan plans to strengthen its power by recruiting domestic players and Asian quarter mercenaries.

Meanwhile, Busan, which recruited Lopez to reinforce its offense, will begin to harden the 2024 season starting with overseas training in Hua Hin, Thailand. 안전놀이터
