Atlantic City's Ocean Resort Casino Announces Grand Opening Date
AC Ocean Walk, owner of the 1,399-room Ocean Resort Casino, this afternoon officially announced that the $3 billion landmark property will open to visitors on Thursday, June 28, 2018, bringing together a large team already hired by the new resort.

The 6.4 million-square-foot Ocean Resort Casino is receiving an overall real estate refresh as well as targeted updates or modifications to specific items to provide additional space to accommodate the expanded property that will be offered when it opens this summer. In addition, the launch of the property as an Ocean Resort Casino includes new policies, procedures and accessibility features related to the guest experience, many of which were written in light of what the property's former customers referred to as a degradation to the overall experience.
The projects have created 300 construction jobs and related jobs at more than 90 local companies since they were acquired in January. Ocean Resort Casino is expected to create 3,200 full-time jobs by the time it opens. More information on job openings and job opportunities is available online.

Upon opening, the Ocean Resort Casino will have 16 swimming pools, including a 138,000-square-foot casino, 160,000-square-foot indoor conference and convention space, another 90,000-square-foot flexible outdoor special event space, six swimming pools including a brine pool, and a sea-facing sundeck with luxury cabanas. The accommodation will open with 16 different dining options, from fine dining to casual venues, including the Ocean Buffet, which offers a variety of food and beverage options, and well-known brands such as Wallburger.
The customer experience-focused Ocean Resort Casino will feature 11 bays for general and program play, $250 million, a renovated 5,500-seat Ovation Hall, Day and Nightclubs, best-in-class sportsbooks awaiting government approval, and 70,000 square feet of retail space, including a variety of entertainment venues, including the largest Top Golf swing suite.
